FAQ
A marketer's guide to an account that pays
Creators’ honest
money 💰 worries, all in one!
Article 3
We asked creators, “What’s your biggest worry lately?” — and almost every answer landed on the same topic.
“Money.”

And the next sentence usually went like this.

“I’m not sure I’m getting paid fairly…”
“Offers come in, but they never turn into collabs.”
“Only free campaigns come — never paid offers.”

It’s a worry about ‘money,’ but underneath is the anxiety of not knowing your own worth.
Glow.B will share the solutions, clearly and fully!
Worry 1
“Am I charging way too little?”
This is a mid-to-advanced worry many creators face.

“With this many followers, shouldn’t I earn more?”
“But... who do I even ask?”

The problem: the influencer market has no ‘rate card.’ Every account differs in content, fans, and reach, so there’s no set standard, and it’s hard to reference similar creators’ prices.

So it’s best to read the market yourself, based on your own account data.
For example...
  • How many offers you got in the last month
  • How many of them actually became collabs

Just these two tell you a lot.

💡 Under 5 offers → your reach or appeal may be lacking
💡 Offers but no deals → price too high or positioning unclear

Here, offer your price as 2–3 options instead of one. One price is a "yes or no," but three shifts the question to “which one’s best?” And if it feels too pricey, try lowering it a bit to experiment — you need time to see what your content actually sells for.
Worry 2
“I’ve done some collabs, but all unpaid...”
This is the most common worry for new creators.
You post steadily and run your account with care, but...

“Barely any offers come in.”
“I just wait, and a month flies by.”

Often there’s no ‘window’ for advertisers to find you, or your account alone can’t convey your appeal. So it matters to build up metrics for your portfolio — basically the ‘ad proposal’ everyone talks about. Many kinds of metrics go in it; here are the ones you can prepare ahead.
  • Engagement with your followers
    • Loyal fans signal account power to advertisers — it’s one of the factors that drives sales conversion.
  • Follower age and gender mix
    • Follower buying power matters just as much — followers with income who spend actively are ideal.
  • Collab history, reviews, and results
    • Even free or affiliate-link collabs count — gather their results in advance.

You can’t tell any of this from the account alone, right? So once advertisers see a portfolio that lays it out, they think, “I’d love to work with this creator.” That’s why, even on free campaigns, it pays to track and build up this info ahead of time.

You can encourage lots of positive comments and stay close to your followers. You can also use affiliate links (reward-earning links) to track how many followers click and convert, then check and improve how persuasive your account is.
Worry 3
“I want to raise my rate...”
More creators face this than you’d think. Your content is good and you’ve done collabs, but the ‘paid switch’ won’t flip. Usually it’s one of these:
  • Your old rate was so low it became ‘the standard,’
  • your account is seen as a ‘free-collab-only’ one,
  • or you have nothing to justify a higher rate, so advertisers aren’t convinced.

A creator can ‘name’ a rate, but advertisers only move once they ‘buy into’ it. Without that, no collab happens.
So this is when you need a ‘proposal’ — a portfolio.
For advertisers, an Instagram profile alone can’t explain “why this price.”

But with a portfolio, it’s a different story.
  • Numbers like reach, views, and comment rate
  • Trust signals like brand reviews and content samples
  • A clear rate card

Show all this at once and the power in rate talks shifts to you.
Instead of “this costs X,” you can say “this is the content quality and results my account delivers.”
The rate only you didn’t know
Because now you should be able to name it too.
In a market where everyone moves by their own standard with no public price list, speaking up takes evidence.
